Hi I’m Sherry Lyon. I started my Gluten Free Bakery to fulfill a long-time dream of mine. Having been diagnosed with Celiac disease over 20 years ago I have lived through the challenges of finding the right foods, ingredients, and places to eat and those to avoid. I spent 15 years as a professional cake decorator, and I have a passion for baking. When my daughter Madison was diagnosed with Celiac at a young age it became even more important to make great tasting gluten free meals, snacks and treats. Over the years I found myself baking for Madison and sending extra Gluten Free snacks to school functions and sporting events for the others who had to follow a Gluten Free diet. For years I was asked to make this or that and my friends all encouraged me to start my own business and fill a void in our community. In June of 2023 I rented a small “Ghost Kitchen” and began my retirement project with the sole purpose of baking Gluten Free items to make others happy. We have a number of local businesses that carry our products and sell to the public. I am also in the process of adding online ordering with shipping available for our items that have a reasonable shelf life. As we continue to grow the business, we will update this site with new locations and the status of current projects we are working on. In the summer of 2025, we will look to transition the business to our daughter Madison as she graduates college and immerses herself in the bakery full time. We really enjoy making Gluten Free baked goods available to the public and we hope that we are in some small way filling the void that has existed for so long now. Many of my recipes are handed down from generations before me and I have worked hard over the years to take those recipes and make them Gluten Free. We offer many of the more common go-to items, but we also have items that are not easy to come by. For example, our Gluten Free Tea Cake is, in our opinion, better than any you will find, even the ones with Gluten. We also make Gluten Free Cannoli’s. When was the last time you had a Gluten Free Cannoli? Our Holiday cookie boxes are packed full of a variety of items such as Madeline, Yon Hagel, Kolacky, Shortbread, yum yum bars, and more. We source our apples fresh from local orchards, honey from our local beekeeper, and maple syrup from our local sugar house. Our goal is to source as much as possible from local businesses and put money back into our community.
